I bought these in 2005 to build a tube audio stereo system. That system did not get built and now these original A-7s are available. Heathkit amps of the postwar era are beautiful straightforward designs that produce amazingly warm audio. The A-7 uses a 5Y3 rectifier, a 12SN7/12SL7 driver, and 12A6 output tubes. I do a lot of business with them and they always have well cared for gear. Not saying it won’t need adjustments but, it looks like a nice clean unit. Rare vintage custom-built vacuum tube mono amplifier featuring a highly desirable Acrosound Ultra-Linear TO-300 output transformer along with Raytheon transformer components. Likely dating to the 1950s hi-fi era. This amplifier was previously paired with a Garrard turntable as part of a vintage custom mono hi-fi setup. Included is the original/custom wood cabinet featuring an open-sided ventilation design, giving the amplifier a fantastic mid-century custom hi-fi appearance. Also includes the vintage cables shown in the photos. A very interesting piece of early high-fidelity audio equipment with strong appeal to vintage tube audio collectors, restorers, and DIY hi-fi enthusiasts. Vintage The Fisher 55-A Tube Mono Block Amplifiers Set Of 2 Restored Rare. This wonderful pair of 1950s mono block amplifiers were just restored by my tech at Voorslag Audio in Providence, RI and are performing up to spec. They are very well known for their excellent work on vintage hifi gear. You don’t see a pair of these amps come around very often. Message me with any questions. Fully restored and gone over, all tubes tested and faulty components properly replaced and all bad connections buttoned up, all tubes tested and in green. Plenty of test hours ran on them and they sound terrific.

Estate Find, older couple downsizing. They said they haven’t used the stereo in years but it was magic when they did. You get the pair of Eico HF-60 power amps. See photos, what you see is what you get. I have a HK Citation IV preamp listed that was part of this stereo. I did not try to plug these in to test. Tubes will be removed and packed securely. Pair of RCA MI-12222-B Mono tube amplifiers. Condition for both amps are overall good with rust and/or spots on the body. Please refer to pictures for condition.

This mono amplifiers in pretty good condition for its age. I’ve only performed a light cleaning. It is untested and in the exact condition that I received it in. I have not powered it up. I’ve not tested any of the Tubes. I’m sure it will need a check up by a technician and some components replaced. Take a look at pictures for the condition details.

This Bogen DB20 mono tube amplifier is a recent “barn find” survivor, housed in its original wooden case. The case measures approximately 17 inches wide, 11 inches deep, and 11 inches tall. This unit is in original, unrestored condition and appears to have been in long-term storage for many years. While the exterior has been cleaned, please note there is surface staining on the metal chassis and a slight musty scent consistent with its barn storage history. In an initial safety test, the unit powered on quietly and the vacuum tubes showed a healthy glow. However, during a subsequent attempt to film a video of the unit, I heard a sizzling sound and noted a burning scent. I immediately disconnected the power to prevent any damage to the transformers. Condition & Restoration: I have listed this unit in the “For parts or not working” category. It contains all-original 1950s internal components, including capacitors that have clearly reached the end of their service life. Additionally, the original power cord is in rough shape and must be replaced. To ensure safety and reliability, this amplifier must be thoroughly inspected and serviced by a qualified technician before any future use. This is a “pure” restoration project and a fantastic find for a collector or audiophile. The wood case and internal transformers remain the primary value of this unit.
