I received this serviced unit about three months ago and used it until recently. It delivers superb sound with depth and warmth, from low to high power-sound that can only be experienced with a vacuum tube amplifier. I have been listening to CDs and records through vintage 8-ohm Mitsubishi Diatone speakers. It produces a wonderful, timeless tone that never becomes tiring. It is completely different from a transistor amplifier-this is the quality you expect from a vacuum tube amplifier. If it does not produce sound properly, I will address the issue.

Luxman MQ60 Vintage Stereo Power Tube Amplifier. I have here a nice and old Luxman MQ60 Stereo Tube Power Amplifier. Came out in 1969, this is a true classic tube amplifier. I’m not a technician at these, but it appears to be working and sounding fine as I tested with my audio. Please note I have not done any technical testing, but only some basic test that the unit was producing sound through Input on both L & R channels, and the volume knobs working well to the best of my knowledge. I tested for a few hours and seem to sound fine. Maybe a slight scratch noise on the volume knobs (only audible when controlling), which could do with some adjustment/servicing if required. I also noticed the LED light on power switch seem to be not lighting up, but does not affect its function. Cosmetically the unit is in nice condition for its age as you can see. There are some wear and minor marks here and there, with some light scuffing on the corners and a bit of rust on the metal parts as pictured but nothing too major. I’m including plenty of pictures so you can see exactly how it looks. Please refer to my pictures for any details. NOTE: This unit was made for the Japanese market which runs on 100 volts. You will need a stepdown voltage converter for 120V – 220V regions. These charges are the buyers responsibility. Thanks for checking our listing. I do however try to give an honest appraisal for every item listed. It is never my intention to mislead. It appears to be in the condition described above but no guarantees are made. You may need to get professionally qualified technicians to service or repair the item to get it performing to its full potential. Servicing and any subsequent repairs that may be required are the buyers responsibility. _gsrx_vers_306 GS 5.3.5 (306).
