This came into our shop on a trade. Not an expert on these but it’s in fantastic condition and sounds incredible. I had Raul Hernandez of Aztec Electronics in Murrieta, CA. Completely go through this amp. Raul is an ex-Hughes (Howard) Aircraft tech from way back SoCal and knew exactly what to do with the Marantz. He found two capacitors that were leaking in the inverter and replaced them. No other issues with the rest of the amp. The specs on this 8B are spot on with the original. The inside is just fantastic and doesn’t look to have been messed with. Beautiful hand-wired work and super clean. The tubes look to me like they “might” be original. Amp is said to be a second owner and spent most of its time in Japan. Either way this amp hasn’t seen alot of moving or miles. I have a few videos of the testing and many photos of the tube testing/bias adjusting and can send a separate link to all of that info or go to Reverb as it’s also listed there. This Fisher 500-C (serial number 64267U) is in really nice cosmetic condition. The front panel looks terrific with very little cosmetic wear. We cleaned the controls with electrical contact cleaner, but that’s about all the work we’ve done. The tubes are all original and branded for Fisher, including all of the Telefunken smooth plate 12AX7 tubes! It’s playing great and has been tested with the auxiliary and phono inputs. No issues were found! Please keep in mind that the tubes are untested and I cannot guarantee their condition. Also, a cabinet and plastic feet are not included. The bottom line is this… You’ll receive your item on time and in perfect condition regardless of how big, heavy, or delicate your item may be! The previous owner took all two units to be repainted in the original Marantz color, and the results are satisfactory. This is an opportunity for a new owner to acquire iconic equipment and, with an electronic restoration, bring them back to life. We do not know what may need to be replaced, so we cannot be held responsible for any damages. NOTE: Only Two Power Amplifier For Sale. The two units have scratches. The serial numbers are as follows: power amps model 5 (1228) and (1247). The equipments are located in a Warehouse in Miami FL 33166. All orders are processed from Monday to friday. No modifications, all factory with the exception of tubes in which two were replaced at some point, one of the 6BG5/EL84′s (replaced with vintage RCA) and the 12AX7, replaced with vintage Mullard? Based upon the ribbed top, but not certain as the print in nearly all gone except part of the 12AX7. This unit was salvaged out of a Hammond, A-105 Organ which was headed to the landfill, I managed to talk the owner into letting me salvage the parts before he took it away. I have no idea if this works or not. Hammond AO 39 Power amp. Tubes 4 (1) 12AX7, (1) 5U4, (2) 6BQ5. Use DYI EL84 guitar amp or Hammond organ replacement, or great HiFi project. The AO 39 was used as the power amp for A-105 series organ driving two parallel connected 12 inch speakers. The amp is a good candidate for conversion to several EL84 guitar amp that use one or two preamp tubes. The chassis has plenty of room and will easily handle two extra 12AX7 tubes.

Vintage Gibson GA 5W Guitar Amplifier, in used pre owned condition this is Not a Tube Amplifier I’ve owned this Amp for 25 Years I used a bass guitar with it and it worked great back then but I don’t own a Guitar so I can’t fully test it but it still powers on the cabinet has cosmetic flaws around the edges. Please look closely at the pictures to judge the condition for yourself, if you have any questions please feel free to ask I’ll do my best to respond back thanks.
