Tested via Auxiliary: I tested the unit using the cables shown in the back photos through the Aux input. It powers on and sounds great. Volume Potentiometer: There is some “scratchy” noise (static) when adjusting the volume up or down. Got these tubes with several others in a lot that were clearly New Old Stock and appear to have never been installed! All 4 of these tubes feature the same top “Gf8″ code and the bottom codes are Delta8xx / Delta9xx which indicates they are from 1968/69 and manufactured by Philips. In this particular case they were branded for Honeywell. This set tests as NOS+ and is nicely balanced! Also the print is Extremely fragile and will easily rub off, much has already rubbed off, but special care was taken not to rub off any more while testing. Here we have a pair Philips tweeter speaker, made around 1959 by Philips, Hamburg plant, West-Germany. These bakelit horn drivers have phenolic membranes and 8 Ohm impedance. The Pout is around 12 Watt from my papers. These were fit in aluminium horns at that time. I have more pairs of these Philips in stock. (last pictures shows my stock).
