This is a killer Masco ME27 hand wired point to point 50s tube amp. Bill from Austin Vintage Guitars has replaced caps, resistors and one tube. The other tubes are vintage old stock from that same era (according to Bill) and tested strong. He did some modifications which made it more user friendly and he also gave mic/input 2 a tone knob. So mic/input 2 has 2 tone knobs that give you tons of flavors. He also did 2 outputs to speaker. One is for for 8ohms and the other is for 16ohms. It had the funky pin to hole ohm selector on the back and I wasn’t a fan of it, so he changed it for me. It has a 3 prong cable. It has a very nice crystal like clean and the crunch on this amp is like no other. I own several amps and pedals that cant mimic the dirt this amp puts out. It’s very unique. The amp works perfectly and sounds incredible. Yes it can get loud. There is plenty of cosmetic wear being it’s around 65 years old, but it’s excellent perfect working condition. I’ve got the old caps, etc. And the receipts of all the work Bill did to it.
