Up for sale two is a rare Soviet tube preamps – LOMO UP-25. Here is the rarest Soviet preamps. Based on three Soviet tubes: 1PCS 6G32P [analogue of EF86] and 2PCS 6N3P [ECC85 / 6L12]. Up for sale here is this set of 2 vintage Leak TL/12 Plus tube amplifiers, with two Leak Varislope III tube preamplifiers, with the power cords and octal connector cables. These came from a local tube guy, and came to me just as you see them–I have not swapped out any tubes or done anything else to them. These are in fantastic condition, but here are some things to note. Amps are not identical–one is a slightly different color than the other, and they have different voltage options–one is 105v/110v/124v and one is 110v/117v/124v. Both are currently set at 124v. Please note that these do not appear to have 100v/220v/240v options. Both amps DO NOT have bottom covers. There are no top covers/cages. Physical condition is extremely good, but these do have light overall wear and a few minor scrapes/marks. Both amps include all tubes, but the tubes are untested. I did not swap any out. The rectifiers are 5V4s. Underneath, the amps look good and look pretty original. One has a Beaver capacitor in it that’s probably not original, and that amp has two resistors right by the Beaver cap that look damaged. There is also a Plessey electrolytic cap that looks damaged. Both preamps have their top/bottom covers, but one has no screws for the covers. That one has both tubes in it, and they appear to be original, and are untested. I don’t know if the other one has tubes, but I would assume it does. Preamps do not match–one has white knobs and one has black knobs. Otherwise they look pretty similar. Cables are included and seem fine–they are not frayed or cracked. I will guarantee the transformers to be good. This is a really rare pair of amps–don’t miss it! Please see my pictures for details.
