Update: Beautiful tube amplifier(mono) by using 12AX7 drive one pair of 6L6(or KT66/EL34) output about 30w with tube rectification. There are inputs for Mic1/Mic 2 and turntable phono. Original schematics is included for this amplifier. Excellent++ cosmetics and tested good working. I paid top dollars from the original owner’s family years ago. Planned to use it for my kids’ sing alone. It was too beautiful for that purpose, so it has been on my home office shelf for years. VINTAGE 1960s GUITAR TUBE AMP AMPLIFIER REALISTIC PA-45 VGC MID CENTURY 6L6 DUO, also known as the Fanon Masco FMA35. I believe this one has a Solid State rectifier and will be a little louder and tighter on teh bottom end. Sounds great with excellent tone and power with great tone and gain control. Two 6L6 POWER TUBES. Can power 16, 8 and 4 ohm speaker loads and has outputs for 70 and one other type 25V? Speaker installations, such as the kind used in schools or churches. It’s a real work horse and has some great clean tone, and smooth overdrive characteristics with the same power tubes of the classic fender amps, but actually driving them hard with some real power! It makes my old bassman sound a bit cold! If I don’t sell it, I’ll likely start using it for my guitar rig! It’s the kind of oddball rig that I can really make sing and definitely is one that no one else is using! And that’s a shame, because it’s really a cool amp! It has microphone and phono inputs, which are very sensitive and can get you some GODLY and crunchy overdrive as well as cleaner inputs for getting the most clean out of the amp. It’s more versatile, tonally, than a lot of the guitar amps of the era. A lot of musicians back in the day would use these PA amps for their guitars and plug into the mic inputs… Hendrix and Leslie West to name two HUGE ones, both using the classic Sun Colluseum PA head… It’s made from pretty heavy pressed bent steel plate, and really would have put you years ahead of the competition back in the 60′s if you used this on guitar! 35 real tube watts isn’t a joke and with some good speakers, you will probably get enough drive to fall in love! Easy to mod and can be used for anything you want that tube mojo on with some punch, such as vintage electric pianos, upright bass, harmonica (harp) and of course all manner of guitar. Will do a loud crunchy overdrive, or a sparkly clean but still gainy hi-fi clean tone for acoustic. Get it before I talk myself into keeping it! So no harm in trying! Realistic tube amplifier serviced and working super fine. No hum with Push-Pull 6BQ5 / 12AX7 amplifier. Rated at 15 Watts. Speaker NOT included but available in one of my other listings. This is a used Realistic Tube PA Amp/Amplifier. It has 3 inputs: 2 Microphone and 1 phono that have been tested and all work. It includes a Sam’s Photofact Folder/Schematic for a Realistic Model PA30/60 Amplifier. This amplifier uses a 5U4 instead of the 5AR4 (rectifier tube) shown in the schematic, but all the other components are the same. I used this with an electric guitar plugged into both microphone inputs using a “Y” adapter and a Switchcraft 1/4 to screw on connector on the amp. It was connected to a 4×12 guitar speaker cabinet using the output screw terminals (to a 1/4 jack adapter). It was also used with a CD player plugged into the phono input. It works as it should, with plenty of power; The bass and treble controls also work well. It uses 3 – 12AX7′s, 2 6L6′s and a 5U4. All the tubes test good on a Sencore TC154 emissions type tube tester. It is in nice shape and includes all the knobs and cabinet screws but the bottom plate is missing 2 screws. I tested the Monitor jack on the front with stereo headphones and it works also. Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions. Thanks for checking this out!
