This particular pair tests as NOS+ and are almost perfectly matched. I pulled and matched these from a group of about 20 vintage RCA black plate 6L6GC’s of the same style and these 2 were the strongest, closest matched tubes of the entire group, and while the style of print on them is a little different, their internal construction is identical. Also one tube’s top glass dome is slightly taller than the other, but this is also purely cosmetic. One tube has a CG/1968 date code, and the other a DE/1970 code. Also, t he tube boxes are original reused RCA boxes, and not original to 6L6s or these tubes. Notes Regarding Tube Tests.
