Up for sale, a 1967 Silvertone model 1482 tube amp in excellent condition and in perfect working order, complete with the full original Silvertone-branded tube set. With a 100% original circuit and a modern three-prong power cable, this Silvertone is ready for another 60 years! Manufactured by Danelectro in the USA, this amp is often referred to as the “poor man’s Deluxe” for its rich gain, touch-sensitive responsiveness, and 15 watt 6V6 push/pull tube power section, features which are all very reminiscent of the Tweed-era Fender Deluxe from the late’50s. This amp really does tap into what made Fender’s Tweed amps great, and at about 1/10th the price, the Silvertone 1482 is one of the best bargains on the vintage amp market. With simple controls for Volume and Tone for both the Mic and Instrument inputs, the amp also boasts a powerful bias-based tremolo circuit that has a great pulse and smooth waveform. The preamp is untouched, and the point-to-point, hand-wired circuit boasts the original capacitors, carbon comp resistors, and CTS pots which date to the late weeks of’66. Both of the original transformers are intact, and the amp is stocked with its original pair of Silvertone-branded 6V6 power tubes. A modern three-prong power cable has been installed, and the speaker is the original Fisher 12 alnico magnet driver, featuring a date code on the magnet bell from 1967. The original gray thatched covering is in good shape, with just a couple minor marks and one circular mark on the top of the enclosure. The original wheat grillcloth with sparkle thread is present, and the aluminum faceplate retains all of the original knobs and black silkscreen text.

Up for sale, a 1966 Silvertone 1481 vintage Class A tube amp in excellent condition. Freshly serviced, this amp features a simple single channel design with a 6V6 power tube and 8 Jensen speaker. Roughly equivalent to a Fender Champ, the 1481 offers sweet, sparkling cleans and overdriven grit. The point-to-point circuit retains the original transformer pair, the CTS pots have visible date codes from the 17th week of’66, and the original two-prong power cable is present. The 8 alnico magnet Jensen speaker is a later substitution, more powerful than the original speaker and dating to 1961. The cabinet retains its gray textured exterior, gold sparkle grillcoth and small Silvertone badge.

Vintage mid century modern Sears Silvertone stereo tube amplifier model 2029. The amp measures approximately 13 inches long, 9 inches deep and 4-3/4 inches tall. The amp is in fair vintage condition with scrapes, scratches and other signs of use.

I used the microphone port on this and it worked. It may need something replaced but it does work. I have not cleaned it at all. A good detailing would really make this nice.
