The amp is fully functional, the only issue is the water stain you see pictured. I found it stuffed away in a closet at an estate sale years ago and have played and enjoyed it but the music room is simply getting a bit crowded these days. Vintage VOX Student Model Combo Tube Amp. With the 9 beginning the serial number, designates 1966. Mfg: Thomas Organ Sepulveda, California. The VOX Student model is a fairly rare amp. It sounds great, pretty clean until around 7-8 when it breaks up nicely. The Tolex is excellent, the VOX grill cloth is excellent. It still retains the original transformers, tubes and. The tubes are VOX labeled and are 35W4 (rectifier), 12AU6 (pre-amp) and 50C5 (audio output tube). Tube chart is intact. A nice addition to any VOX collection.
