The Vintage RCA Victor UX-280 Tube Amp Power Supply is a classic piece of audio equipment that hails from the United States. Vintage mid-1950s Heath Company hand-built Heathkit W3M “Williamson Type” mono tube amplifier and companion Heathkit WA-1 Power Supply in good working condition (see video). Appears to all original and unmolested. No hum and very good cosmetic condition for its age. Amazing that these were engineered so well that its working great after 70 years. All vintage tubes made in USA. Acrosound TO-300 “ultra-linear” output transformer. Being so old, it should be checked out by a qualified tech to replace any out of spec or obsolete components. The only issue I noticed was the multi-pin connected cable needs to be manipulated to find a sweet spot to make a connection, so there must a loose or frayed wire in cable end. I do a lot of business with them and they always have well cared for gear. Not saying it won’t need adjustments but, it looks like a nice clean unit. Everything you see in the pictures is what is included in this lot. Photos are the best description. Please look at all pictures closely before purchasing. We will document any damage the best we can but the photos will always be the best way to exam the item. Items may need a more in depth cleaning. This came in from a ham radio estate, have no clue what this does or is for. Use zoom, I did not plug in, I would think you want to bring this up on a variac… Not sure if amp or power supply or? So untested, as found, no bottom panel. Please see all pictures and use zoom feature. Often the pictures describe the item better than words. THIS COMES AS PICTURED AND UNTESTED. I BELIEVE IT IS A 2-CHANNEL POWER SUPPLY BUT THE PARTS IN IT ARE VERY NICE AND COULD BE USED IN AN AMPLIFIER BUILD.
