RCA MI-9354C Vintage Tube Theater Audio Sound Amplifier in Photophone Rack +++. This RCA set is a pretty special find. It was installed in a movie theater located in Ely, Nevada back in 1941. The new owner has been using it as a decorative piece until we acquired in just a few days ago! Below are the labeled components that are included in the sale. MI-9210B Photophone rack (serial P-1321). MI-9354C power amplifier (serial P-1570). MI-9302B compensator panel (serial P-1290). MI-9502B exciter lamp supply (serial P-1396). MI-9702 control box (cabinet is pretty much empty). MI-9375 monitor amplifier (serial P-1406). MI-9405A monitor speaker cabinet (serial P-1497). 140284-1 loudspeaker (housed in cabinet). MI-9760A spare parts cabinet. The rack also contains two other components which are not labeled. The bad news: Several components are missing transformers. We have no idea who removed them or why they were removed. We also don’t have a list of what all is missing, so please review the pictures carefully to see what’s missing. The good news: The front panel/cover looks good, and the chrome trim really makes it stand out! It’s a little bent up on top (see photos), but that’s the only big cosmetic issue. You’ll notice that no glass tubes are shown in the photos, but they are included in the sale (we simply forgot to install them when before taking photos). This set will make an excellent display piece for an audio enthusiast or movie buff. While we would hate to see it parted out any further, it is still loaded with quality parts that can be used to build or repair amps! The system is available for local pick-up, free of charge.
