LUXMAN SQ38FD vacuum tube integrated amplifier. Operation has been confirmed, and the unit is functioning properly. All rotary switches, volume controls, and balance controls operate smoothly with no significant static noise or switching shock during normal use. Contact points have been cleaned and treated for improved reliability. Tone controls and filter circuits were tested, and both audible performance and measured values were confirmed to be within proper specifications. The headphone circuit is also functioning normally. All RCA terminals and speaker output terminals are present with no looseness or instability. Please note that the PHONO circuit was not fully tested with an actual turntable setup, therefore subjective S/N performance and noise levels have not been confirmed. Basic measurements including S/N ratio, frequency response, input/output characteristics, distortion level, and maximum output were carried out, and no abnormalities were found. Stable operation was confirmed even under capacitive load conditions with no oscillation issues. The PHONO input was also checked using reverse RIAA measurement, and EQ deviation was found to be within acceptable range. This amplifier operates very stably and reflects the high-quality engineering and craftsmanship that LUXMAN is known for. The vacuum tubes consist of 50CA10 ×4, 6AQ8 ×2, 6267 ×2, and 12AX7 ×4. Tubes are a mixture of Matsushita-branded and LUXMAN-branded units. All tubes are low-noise types and were checked using a TV-7 tube tester, confirming practical usability and healthy operating condition. Most coupling capacitors are film capacitors. Random inspections of several components showed some aging in capacitance, insulation characteristics, and loss values, but nothing considered problematic for practical use. Some electrolytic capacitors, especially those exposed to high voltage, may benefit from preventive replacement during future maintenance. The amplifier is offered in its current condition. Vintage 1960s Sears Silvertone 1485 tube amp head made by Danelectro. Just professionally serviced and working. These are highly sought-after vintage amps known for huge clean tones, gritty garage rock breakup, excellent tremolo, and deep tube reverb. Service completed. Replaced bad 6GC7 phase inverter tube with new Sovtek tube. Cleaned potentiometers, jacks, tube sockets, and controls. Tested and functioning Important. Head only – no speaker cabinet included. Vintage mid-1950s Heath Company hand-built Heathkit W3M “Williamson Type” mono tube amplifier and companion Heathkit WA-1 Power Supply in good working condition (see video). Appears to all original and unmolested. No hum and very good cosmetic condition for its age. Amazing that these were engineered so well that its working great after 70 years. All vintage tubes made in USA. Acrosound TO-300 “ultra-linear” output transformer. Being so old, it should be checked out by a qualified tech to replace any out of spec or obsolete components. The only issue I noticed was the multi-pin connected cable needs to be manipulated to find a sweet spot to make a connection, so there must a loose or frayed wire in cable end. Unit powers on condition is unknown – I do not have the equipment or knowledge to fully test it safely. Cosmetically it shows normal wear from age and use including scratches, marks, dust, and handwritten markings around knobs. Interior appears largely complete from what I can see in the chassis. Amplifier was an estate sale find taken directly out of console and bench tested and working at Soundwerks Vintage Audio in Phoenix, AZ. Video of bench testing unit in 2nd pic slot. I used the microphone port on this and it worked. It may need something replaced but it does work. I have not cleaned it at all. A good detailing would really make this nice.

EICO HF-81 Integrated Tube Amplifier – Restoration Candidate – Working Iron. Some units are plug-and-play. This is not one of them. This EICO HF-81 is a largely original example and should be viewed as a restoration project. The transformers appear healthy, but the amplifier will require electronic servicing for stable, long-term operation. This is for someone who will selectively change parts for stability but retain the sonic character the HF-81 is famous for. Operational Status (Please Read Carefully). Powered up slowly on a Variac. Output transformers pass signal. Video included demonstrating that both channels produce output. One channel is weaker and exhibits distortion. The stronger channel distorts at high volume. Power switch (integrated into treble knob) does not function properly. Unit is likely running on original capacitors. Given its age, full recap and restoration is recommended before regular use. Tube Complement (Installed & Working). The original Eico factory installed tubes tested weak or shorted and were replaced with. Quad Sylvania EL84 / 6BQ5 – New old stock (NOS) and new in box (NIB). Tubes are functional, but the distortion issue suggests underlying circuit components (likely caps or resistors) require attention. Classic gold faceplate with vintage wear. Appears largely unmodified internally (based on current inspection). Why This Is Worth Restoring. The HF-81 is widely regarded as one of the most musical EL84 integrated amplifiers ever made. Properly restored examples command strong market value and are known for. Balanced push-pull EL84 output. Highly respected transformer set. The transformers are the heart of these units – and this one passes signal. Collector seeking original platform for rebuild. If you’re looking for a fully restored, daily-use amp, this is not that listing. If you want a strong foundation with working iron and upside potential, this is an excellent candidate. This machine plays great! Includes some reels from a local Texas country musician. We bought several old electronics like record players, tape decks ect from this estate. Every was well taken care of to say the least. Great machine and sounds awesome. Includes original mic as well. Hate to see it go but definitely something a musician would enjoy more than I. Not Working , But 100% Complete. Sound Projects R-203 Guitar Tube Amplifier. This is A Really Cool & Vintage 1960s Sound Projects R-203 Guitar Tube Amplifier that’s in great cosmetic condition over all for its age. Its in the cosmetic condition as pictured, so be sure to view them all (see pics). I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics). This amp appears all original other than what is mentioned above, but does not work. The original speaker appears to be in great shape with no signs of deterioration. When this amp came in, the power cord was cut off, as well as the wires going to the speaker. We threw a power cord and speaker wires on it to see what we had. You can hear that it turns on, but the tubes don’t heat up and you get nothing out of it. It doesn’t appear anything has been tampered with other than the speaker wires and power cord. We didn’t try anything else to get this going and just left it as you see it. Please look at all pics… What you see is exactly what you are getting.

This is a mid 60′s vintage Harmony Tube amp. Cosmetically everything looks okay, but the amp does not work. When it is powered on, the amp just buzzes, but does not register anything plugged into the line inputs. Looks like the power cable was replaced at some point. Please see the schematics and photos of the capacitors/resistors inside.
