Vintage Tube Amp

I picked this amp head up from the family of the guy that was the backup sax player for Clarence Clemens in Springsteens band in the 80s or 90s. Really thats what they told me. So this head looks good. The pics on the tube sticker say AA864 and the other stamp says OC. It sure looks like an O. If its not an o then it sure aint a Q. So anyways I have seen conflicting data on dating and it appears this is a 64 or 65. So the OC means March of 64 and I guess the AA864 means 65. I plugged it in and turned it on and nothin. Then I checked and there was no fuse so I put a 2 or a 4 amp buss fuse in and it came on and lasted about 30 seconds then the fuse blew. So there you have it.
