Vtg FENDER Deluxe Reverb Guitar Tube Amp Original 1977
We got this from the estate of a longtime professional guitarist and local legend who toured with the likes of Haggard, Milsap, etc. Hes now retired and decided to sell some of his collection. Hes a bit of a tinkerer and modified the amp a bit- replacing the original speaker with a Mesa. The outlet cord and tubes appear to also be replaced. At some point he also removed the volume/boost clicker- so not sure if its in the regular or boost mode. Regardless, the tone is superb, earthy, and growls nicely at about 8 or 9. Theres also used a dab of paint as a marker on the volume knob. He said its a 1977 model but may be older. He also served in the Marine Corps in Vietnam and proudly added a patch on the bottom and a sticker on the side. Other issues are it could use a bit of a clean and the metal grill has some age spots. Also note its been banged in a few places. Foot switch for the vibrato also missing. Any questions or comments please ask! Reasonable BIN offers accepted.
