I have not attempted to power it on, and no testing has been performed. As shown in the photos, two of the six power tubes are missing, and only one 12-inch speaker is installed. The amplifier is otherwise believed to be complete, and the original transformers appear to be present. Due to its unknown operating condition, I cannot guarantee functionality of any components. Two power tubes are missing and bases are covered. Only one 12 speaker is included. Original transformers appear to be present. Heavy cosmetic wear consistent with age and use. Cabinet shows scratches, scuffs, stains, nicks, and other signs of long-term use and storage. Tolex has tears, peeling, and loose sections that will need to be re-glued or repaired. Here is an awesome old 1948 Gibson GA-30 guitar amplifier. Looks like it has the original tubes. This amp has had a new handle added as well as the grill cloth was replaced at some point. I believe the speakers were replaced also. This amp currently works as is. Turns on and plays. The volume and tone knobs work properly. Now this being a 75+ year old amp, I will say that it will benefit from having an amp tech look over it and make sure all of the components are working properly. Right now it sounds pretty good with some slight hum when turned up loud. Has the original 2-prong cord that really should be replaced for safety also. With all that being said, this is a really solid 1948 Gibson GA-30 that has been used and taken care of for the last 75+ years. Should have a lot of life left if the new owner continues with proper maintenance.

The light is an antique all metal atomic machine age Art Deco lamp housing with a removable top for easy bulb change. There is chrome fender guitar accenting suspended on metal deco pillars and a small power on amber indicator light under the center of the logo to give it a warm tube amp glowing feel/vibe. The finish is a satin sheen liquid silver and flows beautifully with the chrome accents. There is aging and patina on the inside of the main top shade and under side of the base due to the lamps age. There is also some knicks and scrapes on the light’s housing as well as imperfections under the newer satin finish such as slight pitting etc. There is some paint flaking by one of the bottom fastener nuts on the base. Overall the light is fairly light weight but is made of antique pressed steel and very stout/sturdy. Approximately 10 3/16″ Diameter at the shade x 15″ tall. This is a hand built folk artist tribute to Fender guitar and amps that has a purpose you can use as well. We feel it is EXTREMELY unique and a possible great gift idea for any Fender enthusiast who already has it all and likes the unique folk art. PLEASE NOTE- Please review all photos using zoom and there is plenty more photos upon request, the original lamp platform used is approximately 90 years old and this piece was built by hand, so please keep in mind there are imperfections throughout, feel free to ask questions if needed if your unsure on anything prior to purchasing.
