Vintage Tube Amp

Had this integrated amp around for many years now, from a friend who pulled it from an old console. Time now to share it with someone who wants to, and has time to, give it some TLC. I’m just not able to get to all the items around here I’ve accumulated over the 1990′s and 2000′s. Great tube types – Sylvania black plate 6BQ5s and RCA 12AX7, all included, and the rectifier, all original! Nice cosmetics too, clean chassis, no dings/dents, not dropped. Was curious though and powered it up to 30Vac and watched the B+ climb and stay stable at the power filter cap and at the output transformers and output tubes. Looks good to go for an upgrade to more modern or a partial/complete rebuild. Would make a nice office/den/bedroom amp at about 6 old school watts max per ch. May not have enough power for your main system, but really depends on your speakers and expectations.
