Manufactured in the 1960s by Olson Electronics, a popular supplier of consumer audio equipment and DIY electronics, this classic unit is highly sought after by vintage audiophiles and tube amp enthusiasts. The stereo amplifier pushes around 15 watts and has seven tubes. The currebt tube iibstallation consits of (4) tyoe 6BM8, (2) type 12AX7, and (1) type 6CA4. Here are some details on the Olson and its features on the back panel. RCA jacks for Channel 1 and Channel 2, including specialized inputs for a Tape Head, Magnetic Phono (MAG), Ceramic Phono (CER), Tuner (TUN), Auxillary (AUX), and a Tape Output (Tape Out). Hum Adjustments: (HUM/ADJ) Two potentiometer adjustment screws used to balance the heater filament voltage and minimize backround AC hum. Speaker Phasing Switch: A toggle to quickly invert the polarity of one speaker channel to insure playing in phase. The amplifier performs on one channel only, The potentiometers and switches perform without much extraneous noise. The video sound clip has one side of the amplifier at full volume with KLH AV-4001(C) 8 ohn center channel speaker with a Phillips CD player. The feet all have been recently replaced with new hard rubber isolation footers utiliziing the original slot type screws. The unit stands firm and very solid. The inside cabinet appears fairly clean and without any visual issues (photo supplied). There are some scratches on the bottom corner. Owners name scratched on rear. Manufactures name is missing from amplifier. Other scuffs are on the case (photos provided). One of the glamour rings is missing Channel 1 fron outert control knob, 3rd from left. Packed with tubes seperated from the unit if desired (recommended). Will double box and utilize some or all of the following packing materials: air pillows, bubble wrap, kraft paper. Tubes can be reinforced in place or removed and packed seperately. All questions are welcomed and encouraged.

Vintage Dukane 1U460A tube amplifier in great cosmetic condition and functional. Original RCA power tubes and rectifier along with original Sylvania 12AX7 tubes. It is in original condition with two leaky capacitors replaced during an internal inspection. It has three microphone inputs, two auxiliary inputs, and multiple speaker output taps including 4, 8 ohm. Makes for an excellent guitar amps as is with a conversion for 1/4 to rca which I have, or the mic jacks can be swapped to 1/4 for a much higher gain sound. I’ve chosen to leave it original for the Hifi guys as a monoblock. Extremely high quality build and components.

I have a Vintage Precision Electronics model 20 PA Amplifier. With a Cairad 400-0 Microphone and 20 inch Jenson Hypex University PA loudspeaker Model D-30. These items are untested they belonged to my great Uncle who had a traveling staketing rink he took to mining camps in KY for years.

Vintage UTC Linear Standard MLF tube amplifier, manufactured circa 1954 by United Transformer Corporation (UTC). This is an extremely rare mid-century hi-fi amplifier built during UTC’s golden era and designed around original UTC transformers throughout. Units like this rarely come up for sale in complete form and are highly sought after by collectors, restorers, and transformer enthusiasts. I do not have the proper equipment to safely power or test vintage tube electronics, and no attempt has been made to plug this unit in. Due to its age, please assume it will require service, restoration, or parts replacement before use. No guarantees are made regarding functionality. Cosmetically, the unit shows normal age-appropriate wear and patina consistent with a 1950s amplifier. There is no obvious major damage visible. Please refer to the photos carefully, as they are considered part of the description and show the exact condition of the item.
