Vintage McIntosh MA230 Hybrid tube amp
This is a rare opportunity to own a classic McIntosh integrated amplifier…. This is the Hybrid amp McIntosh manufactured for a short period of time (1963-66)…. The preamp side is solid state and the power amp side is tube circuitry… Rated at 30 watts… This has the optional McIntosh walnut cabinet included… The Glass font is the nicest I have come by with no cracks, bubbles or flaws… All in all great cosmetics…. This works properly as it should and has been serviced and has not been used since then….. Chrome chassis is clean and shiny with no rust… A couple of the original mac tubes have been replace, otherwise others are marked McIntosh… Please inspect photo’s, this is a beautiful (and very rare) piece…..
