Vintage Tube Amp

Up for sale here is this vintage Executone M7004 rack-mount tube amplifier, Made in USA circa 1964. This is an interesting piece of gear, probably from a telecommunications system or intercom. It normally runs a 5U4GB rectifier tube, two 6L6GB, and a 6V6GT tube, but the tubes are not included, sorry. This has an absolutely massive power transformer, made by Quality Transformer and dated 1963, and has a large output transformer (at least, I think that’s what it is) under the chassis, also made by Quality Transformer and dated 1963. The bottom cover is included, but the screws to hold on the bottom are missing, though any standard sheet-metal screws should work. This is a rack-mountable amplifier, but it has a nice flat bottom so you could use it as a standalone or mount it in a guitar amp cabinet. The case is 19″ long and and 4.5″ wide. This has some cool bumblebee caps in it as well as a few other caps and some high-quality power resistors dated early 1964. This could probably be rebuilt into an amazing guitar amp with just a little work. It will need rebuilding before it is ready to use–pretty much all the capacitors will need replacing, and possibly a few other parts. I will guarantee the transformers to be good. This will be an incredible amp once it is rebuilt. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask.
