1950′s Gibson BR9 Vintage 10 Watt 1×8 Tube Combo Amplifier
Amp is in very nice vintage condition. Age wear from being in basement and use over the many years. Had it rebuilt a year ago with all new caps and components by a pro tech in Chicago. All loose ends of tolex were tightened up. New pair if 6v6 tubes. Amp plays nice as it should and has a great sound at all levels. There is a little scratchy at times but when I giggle certain tubes it goes away so I’m guessing the socket needs cleaning for better contact. Or new 5y3 tube and would suggest a grounded plug intalled. Speaker and choke are all good. Great little vintage amp. Hoping someone who knows what they’re doing can fix these small issues.
