Originally designed for bass, this amp is highly desired by your favorite guitar players such as Hendrix, Clapton, Cobain, SRV, The Beatles, Buddy Guy, Pete Townsend and many others from rock to blues and grunge artist. This amp is known for its versatility and warm, rich, clean tone, making it highly responsive to the player’s touch and is highly desirable for bass and guitar players. 2 channel amp with four inputs. This amp is all original other than the original 2 prong cord, which was frayed and recently repaired with a modern 2 prong cord, and a newer grill cloth. This amp was recently serviced on 11/12/25 with a new 2 prong cord, a new power on switch, new F&T electrolytic capacitors and 2 new Sovtek 6L6GC tubes.
Up for sale, a 1963 Gibson GA-30RVT Invader in great condition, complete with the original footswitch. Please examine the pictures closely for a complete description. This GA-30RVT has a complete vintage tube set and a pair of original Jensen speakers-a 12″ C12R ceramic magnet driver and a 10″ P10R alnico magnet speaker. This amp is surprisingly quiet and sounds great. Cleans are clear and bold. The Reverb is unique and acts as a volume control as opposed to a wet/dry mix. This allows the effect to be heard with the amp volume otherwise at zero (a particularly ethereal sound), and also causes the reverb to have its own natural overdrive characteristics when you crank it. The Tremolo is particularly dimensional and deep with a strong throbbing quality. The circuit is original and professionally serviced only as strictly necessary, with new electrolytic caps and a modern three-prong power cable. All of the original transformers are intact and all of the pots are original as well. This model has 8 Tubes and include a matched pair of Westinghouse 7591 power tubes, a Amperex Bugle Boy rectifier, and original RCA-branded valves in the preamp. The amp schematic appears to be identical to the early and coveted Epiphone EA-12 RVT Futura. The speakers are both original to the amp. In addition, there is a switchable external jack that cuts off the connection to the output transformer, allowing you to easily use this as a stand alone speaker cabinet. The cabinet construction is impressive and the overall unit is unbelievably clean. The amp features its original smooth brown covering and two-tone grillcloth, with a large Gibson badge on the face, almost pristine graphics on the aluminum faceplate, and a full complement of reflector cap knobs. The original (hard-wired) two-button footswitch is included.
Road Ready Vintage Marshall 100 Watt Super Lead Tube Guitar Amp Head. Original transformers and case, no holes, hacks or circuit mods. The face and back panels are clean, no damage and all lettering is intact and legible. I have owned this hand wired Marshall amplifier since at least 1999. It has never left my climate controlled studio in all the years I have owned it. Vintage 1972 Marshall 100 Watt Super Lead. Will last another 53+ years and be worth more after all the modern chinese made junk with their microscopic, flammable, surface mount components, noisy, toneless circuit designs & irreparable flimsy printed circuit boards have burned up, been discarded &/or traded to Guitar Center for MORE modern chinese junk.. !! Why do the manufacturers continue to sell chinese junk? 50% of my repair business involves vintage & modern chinese offerings that burn up, are unreliable, problematic, costly to repair and DECLINE in value.. ! EXPERIENCE TRUE VINTAGE TONE, RELIABILITY & INCREASING VALUE. Original hand wired circuit board. Installed are my high quality, road ready, Ampmedic power supply/filter capacitors. Installed are 4-Russian EL34′s closely matched within 4mA, plate/watt dissipation (bias) set to the industry standard of approx. High quality and reliable Sprague Atom caps have replaced the old board electrolytics. All 4-power tube sockets have been replaced for secure tube mounting. Installed is a 3-prong power cable with earth grounding, so the not needed Polarity switch has been disconnected. Carry strap and hardware are almost new. The case is in remarkably good condition for it’s age, with minor Tolex damage to the corners which have been touched up and almost unnoticeable. Aka Ampmedic Tolex Protector and Enhancer has been applied to the Tolex for a tough as nails, wet look shine that dries hard to the touch. Dirt and hand prints can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth to maintain the like new, long lasting, superior finish. “The Juice” is not the sticky, never dry goop you apply to your tires, etc. The flimsy, defective and often misplaced ohms plug functionality has been removed and replaced with dummy-proof? , hard wired output connections. The chassis, pots, inputs/outputs have been flushed with Ampmedic Dielectric Wash and lubed with NU-TROL Control Cleaner (see pics). I do NOT use Contact cleaner for Control pots. Contact cleaner is designed for momentary contacts and NOT CONTROL POTS. !! I replaced all the polystyrene mustard caps, which, over time, become stressed at the wire connection points to the cap body and separate. Especially prevalent in early HIWATT amps with their especially short leads. Installed now are reliable, high quality and open sounding Sprague Orange Drop Polypropylene caps. Because this early Marshall has the high B+, 490vdc mains trafo, this amp is loud and clean like all early S/L’s should be with air between the notes and more frequencies being revealed with a black background and extremely low noise floor even when increasing the volume. Truly world class tone and reliability you’ll enjoy. You will be as proud to own this vintage investment as I have.. Stay tuned for more vintage electronics from my collection priced to sell. ! Mine are NOT The Neglected Hulks Offered By Others as seen online, in big box stores, garage sales or your uncle’s moldy basement, etc. Talk about “eB_ _ LS”. I guarantee that it will work as described when you receive it (48 hrs), with no additional specified time, as I cannot be responsible for 50+year old vintage electronics. You will receive simple (as in common sense) startup and shut down procedures. I VALUE MY FEEDBACK, SO WILL YOU.. !! Is included in the price. ! Packing prep will be extensive & completed w/pride by me. I pack to withstand terrorist attacks from all foreign & domestic agitators.
