Up for sale here is this pair of used vintage 1949 250k ohm linear taper potentiometers. I don’t know who made these–each is marked “4-62, ” but that’s a part number, not a date or EIA code. These have short 1/4 round shafts. They test around 271.9k ohms and 254.7k ohms, so fairly close. These are very r are potentiometers and will work great for you, though they may need some Deoxit. These are for amps–they are probably too big for a guitar. Please see my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask. I have more potentiometers and other vintage electronics listed–feel free to take a look!
