Vintage Tube Amp

Two years ago, we become a non-profit with our main focus on lessons. We are liquating many items including our tube stock. These are the best of the best that we have remaining. All tested and ready to install. We didn’t take pictures of all of them. Because if you are reading this, you know what a tube looks like. We no longer have our “Tube Guru”, so we went by what he wrote on the boxes. (1) 5U4G SOVTEK No info looks good.

Classic Danelectro-built single-ended 6V6 tube amp. 5 watts, 8-inch speaker, volume, tone, two inputs. Clean and original – tubes glow, no major rust or damage, power cord included. Sounds great with that warm, gritty tube tone. Perfect for blues, rock, or as a killer low-volume practice amp.

Vintage Bell & Howell Filmosound 385 Tube Amplifier Amp & Speaker – Tested WORKS. Tested and working (a mp was tested on a stepdown converter due to the age). A soft static sound is heard from speaker while amp is on. When playing sound through the amp, the audio will be louder background static at normal volume levels when the knob is above the halfway mark. Static sound does not increase with volume level. All Bell and Howell branded tubes installed. Amplifier is unrestored, service is recommended before further use. Original projector speaker included, working. Standard signs of use. May have cosmetic wear and/or scuffs. Paint chipped on power transformer. Surface rust on some areas of the chassis and speaker. See photos for more detail. Includes only what is pictured. Still needs a bit of work. All transformers work as they should.

A new grounded power cable added and both units tested and working AS IS. These may benefit from a full recap. This vintage MAGNATONE Tube Amp from 1958 is in good condition with some light wear and tear to the edges. The handle is broken. It has been tested and sounds great!
