Description: Vintage Admiral 5T4A mono-block tube amp with a push-pull pair of 6BQ5 / EL84 output tubes. Solid platform for a low-watt guitar amp build or recording amp. Strong transformers and a clean push-pull EL84 layout make this an excellent foundation for a great-sounding low-watt guitar amp. Powers up and plays well with strong, clean output. Serviced in the past (electrolytic & coupling capacitors replaced). See under-chassis photos for details. Push-pull EL84 / 6BQ5 output stage. Console pull / mono block format. For Guitar Use: Great candidate for a custom build. As with most console amps, you’ll likely want to modify the input, tone controls, and grounding depending on your setup.
