Vintage Tube Amp

Description: Vintage Admiral 5T4A mono-block tube amp with a push-pull pair of 6BQ5 / EL84 output tubes. Solid platform for a low-watt guitar amp build or recording amp. Strong transformers and a clean push-pull EL84 layout make this an excellent foundation for a great-sounding low-watt guitar amp. Powers up and plays well with strong, clean output. Serviced in the past (electrolytic & coupling capacitors replaced). See under-chassis photos for details. Push-pull EL84 / 6BQ5 output stage. Console pull / mono block format. For Guitar Use: Great candidate for a custom build. As with most console amps, you’ll likely want to modify the input, tone controls, and grounding depending on your setup. ADMIRAL TUBE STEREO AMPLIFIER J-104X. Sweet sounding amplifier aprx. 12 to 15 watts per channel in push pull mode. Input driver tubes are 6fq7/6Cg7 , output power tubes are the 6bq5 in push pull mode. Look at the pictures, what you see is what you get. All tubes are included, included tubes are from the 1960′s era and have been in use for some time. Inputs are on the side of the amp, only 2 inputs are active (LEFT AND RIGHT).
