Vintage Acoustic Model 165 Tube Guitar Amplifier. Up for sale is a vintage Acoustic 165 tube guitar amplifier. This one was made in the USA, circa 1980, serial number 165001608. This one was just serviced by our amp tech and it sounds great. The speaker is the original Electro Voice one it came with. It does some have some non original knobs and sliders, and it’s missing the wood rear cross member that went in front of the tubes. The cabinet is solid, with no cracks, though it does have some scratches/wear from being lugged around for nearly 40 years.
