Luxman SQ38FD SQ-38FD Tube Stereo Integrated Amplifier Vintage Tested. Very rare and very hard to find. Condition, Original NEC 50C10 valve. Made in Japan like this. Please view all images what you see what you get. This is on of the best Luxman Valve amplifier ever made with NEC 50C-A10 POWER TUBE. All tube original, can not confirm life of tube but I brought this amp 10 year ago from Osaka and keep this wonderful amp until now, very very light use jus for. I can not tell valve condition but I can confirm valve are working well sound very nice NO ISSUE. This is 100V 50/60hz so need to use step up or step down Voltage depend your country voltage. 78,000yen(August, 1968 release). One stone is also developed as the newest model not using a transistor, the semantics of the end of 38 serieses is put, not using daringly the transistor which was increasing those days, and F of the initial character of Final is attached to the end of a model number. In order to improve the threshold of the output of famous triode 6RA8 which NEC developed, triode 50 C-A10 newly developed is adopted as an output tube. OY15 type is adopted as an output transformer (in SQ38, somewhat small OY14 type carried out now [in-use]). SQ38F was the beginning that this OY15 type transformer is adopted as finished-product amplifier. Circuitry serves as the Mullard type as SQ38 with same power amplifier part, and the preamplifier part has the stream composition enriched further. Form Tube Integrated Amplifier. Variable resistors (thats adjusting currents inside) replaced to modern multiturn (original included). Bias currents adjusted (set to 50ma). Tube sockets, pots, and connectors are cleaned. Input voltage switched from 100V to 117V AC. Cosmetically it looks great, but have few unperfections. The amplifier work only at 100-120v. If you living in countries, where voltage 220-240v, you need a step-down transformer. It will be safety packaged. Luxman MQ60 Vintage Stereo Power Tube Amplifier. I have here a nice and old Luxman MQ60 Stereo Tube Power Amplifier. Came out in 1969, this is a true classic tube amplifier. I’m not a technician at these, but it appears to be working and sounding fine as I tested with my audio. Please note I have not done any technical testing, but only some basic test that the unit was producing sound through Input on both L & R channels, and the volume knobs working well to the best of my knowledge. I tested for a few hours and seem to sound fine. Maybe a slight scratch noise on the volume knobs (only audible when controlling), which could do with some adjustment/servicing if required. I also noticed the LED light on power switch seem to be not lighting up, but does not affect its function. Cosmetically the unit is in nice condition for its age as you can see. There are some wear and minor marks here and there, with some light scuffing on the corners and a bit of rust on the metal parts as pictured but nothing too major. Luxman MQ80 Vintage Stereo Power Tube Amplifier. I have here a nice and old Luxman MQ80 Stereo Tube Power Amplifier. Came out in 1974, this is a true classic CSPP tube amplifier. I’m not a technician at these, but it appears to be working and sounding fine as I tested with my audio. Please note I have not done any technical testing, but only some basic test that the unit was producing sound through Input, and the volume knobs working well to the best of my knowledge. I tested for few hours and seem to sound fine, no noticeable noise or bad contacts on the knobs and connectors. This one has USB fan attached on the rear of the metal cage as pictured. Cosmetically the unit is in very nice condition for its age as you can see. There are some wear marks and minor scuffs here and there, but nothing major. The metal caging is in nice condition too. Luxman MQ68 CUSTOM Vintage Stereo Power Tube Amplifier. I have here a nice and old Luxman MQ68 Custom Stereo Tube Power Amplifier. Came out in 1978, this is a true classic tube amplifier. As being tested with my audio, the output from Right side channel seems to have crackling noise on it, and appears to have slight constant noise on the Right even when the volume is down to zero. The two tubes on the right is marked “OK” and “NO” as pictured, and when I switch the two tubes on the right with the tubes on the left, the noise on the output changes to Left side. So I guess the tube(s) needs replacing, but I’m not a technician at these and I have not done any professional testings so I’m not sure if there is any further issues or not. Apart from the noise on the Right output, Left side output seems to sound fine and the volume knobs appear to be working fine with no noticeable scratch noise. Cosmetically the unit is in very nice condition for its age as you can see. There are some wear and minor marks here and there with but nothing major.
