SET OF TWO (2) VINTAGE MOORE FRANKLIN MONO TUBE AMPLIFIERS. Both these amps are in excellent working condition and excellent cosmetic shape. These mono amps are equipped with the famous Harman Kardan Citation II output transformers. Among some of the features are automatic protect circuit, standby circuit and individual bias adjustments for the output tubes. The amps are capable of 120 watts and there is a switch that will set the output for triode operation or 60 watts. The output tubes are 1980′s vintage General Electric 6550. These amps are built upon a beautiful oak chassis and all the finest components were used. They are heavy at around 70 lbs each.

This Heathkit A-9C was included in a large estate we recently acquired. Like most of the equipment in this collection, this piece was found in storage. It’s in pretty nice cosmetic condition and clean. However, my guess is that it hasn’t been used in years (possibly decades) and as a result will most likely require service. All capacitors look to be original. All tubes are vintage American (Sylvania and GE). We simply don’t have the time to test everything right now given our tech’s limited availability. The bottom line is this… You’ll receive your item on time and in perfect condition regardless of how big, heavy, or delicate your item may be! Good overall condition, some areas could be touched up, please see photos for cosmetics. I did clean up the top a bit, was very dusty from sitting – likely for 40+ years. Great project amplifier – service/restore it and tube it… Good guitar conversion project, or pair it with your other HF-20 and make it stereo! VERY HEAVY – will be double boxed and packed right.

Vintage Pilot Hf56 Mono Tube Amplifier/receiver. This item is in good cosmetic condition for the age. I have 2 of these that have been in my personal collection for a long time. This item works great and has been a good unit for me. I haven’t turned either on in atleast a year they have mainly sat on my speakers that I was using so they might need some cleaning. Vintage Bogen DB130 Mono Tube Amplifier. Pots date to 1957. Has had some cap work in recent history. I ran it for about an hour through the Aux 1 input. It ran fine without any issues. No other testing was done.

Knight mono amplifier for restoration.

I have 3 vintage components that I’m listing separately, but they were hooked together at one time. They are a Heathkit A-9B amp, a Heathkit A-9C amp, and a Garrard turntable RC88-4. Here is a Heathkit tube amplifier model A-9C. This was hooked up with a A-9B amp and turntable along with a receiver for a sound system. Many items are probably custom made for that purpose. I don’t know if the cabinet was custom made or not. Please see pics for more details. I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER IT. VOTE TO CHANGE THINGS! I USUALLY HAVE DIFFERENT CHOICES.
