Vintage The Fisher 500C FM Tube Stereo Receiver Amplifier (Most Original Tubes). Pre owned in working condition. I assume from the age, a cleaning and deoxit could be usefull. This has many original tubes The Fisher Germany. Missing gold round knob end plate on speaker selector knob. When testing the balance knob when turned all the way to the right does not direct audio just to right speaker. Left is fine, and when balance is centered, both speakers play correctly. I assume the potentiometer knob needs deoxIT due to age and oxidation. Please see video and photos, if you have any other questions, I will try my best to answer. See pics above.
Untested – no power-on or signal testing performed. Vintage Stromberg-Carlson AR-37 tube amplifier paired with a Fisher preamp/equalizer. Both units are from the late-1940s to early-1950s era and were part of an early hi-fi/record-reproduction setup. The AR-37 is known for its 10-watt output, five-tube design, and built-in equalization network intended for pre-RIAA record curves. The Fisher preamp adds tone shaping and gain control typical of early Fisher engineering. Both units are untested. No power-on or functional checks were performed. They are offered AS-IS for parts, restoration, or display. Five-tube amplifier (6SN7GT, 6SN7GT, 6F6, 6F6, 5Y3GT). Rated around 10 watts output. Bass boost, treble attenuation, and compensation controls. Metal chassis design typical of late-40s Stromberg-Carlson engineering. Cosmetics show age-appropriate wear. No guarantee of completeness or functionality. No cables or accessories included. AI has added the following description after all the photos were loaded. ? Identification of Your Components. A Stromberg-Carlson chassis with a 50-60 cycle, 105-125V plate. A large power transformer and multiple octal tubes. A front panel with Fidelity / Treble / Bass / Volume controls. Serial numbers consistent with late 1940s-early 1950s SC sound equipment. This is not an AR-37. It appears to be a higher-power Stromberg-Carlson PA/Hi-Fi amp, likely in the 20-30 watt class, closer to models like the AMP-1, AMP-2, or AMP-24 family. These sell higher than AR-37 units because they have more output and better transformers. Early Fisher bird logo. Markings for AES, NARTB, LP, 800, etc. This is an early Fisher phono preamp/EQ, late 1940s-early 1950s. These are collectible because they predate the Fisher hi-fi receivers of the 1950s-60s. The wooden case with a handle and combined front panel is a period custom build. These were often used in. Collectors like these because they show real-world use and originality.
