This particular set tests as average / used and are fairly closely matched, with all 4 date codes the same. These should still have a nice amount of life left in them. The tubes’ test results are displayed in the photos New 6L6 Spec 100% = 6,0. See the photos for physical / cosmetic condition. Also, t he tube boxes are original reused RCA boxes, and not original to 6L6s or these tubes. Additional Note: The getter flash on one tube is quite a bit more faint than the others (the one testing 82% Gm), this is purely cosmetic since as mentioned above this tube still tests satisfactory and sounds nice. Notes Regarding Tube Tests. All tubes are tested on an Amplitrex AT-1000 tester in the automatic Fixed Bias Mode (for the most conservative results). Test Results are for a general reference only, and are not a guarantee of performance, nor a guarantee of how they will test on your tester. No real world (audio) performance measurements are taken.

Curio Modern Vintage Audio. 1960s Silvertone 1472 Tube Amp. Warm Clean & Overdrive. This early-1960s Silvertone 1472 was built by Danelectro for Sears. It is a fantastic studio amplifier famous for its warm clean tones, natural tube overdrive when turned up, and a deep, swampy tremolo circuit. Original Components & Factory Specs. Collector Originality: This specific unit commands a premium due to its unswapped, factory-original vintage internal hardware, which is exceptionally rare to find intact together. Factory Jensen Speaker: Retains the original 12-inch Jensen Ceramic Speaker (Date code 220826, manufacturing code EMI220 C8138 5). The cone and basket are completely intact and structurally sound. Original Factory Cabinet: The speaker baffle board features the original factory ink stamp. Dating the cabinet assembly to late July of 1962. Original Vintage Tubes: Includes the original, factory-installed vintage American tubes: one RCA 6V6GT and one Sylvania 6V6GT. Tech & Condition Report. Power Cord Note: The amplifier retains its original 2-prong power cord. A 3-prong grounding adapter block is included to help minimize ground crackle, but the internal circuit has not been re-wired. Controls: Volume, tone, and the tremolo speed/strength knobs all function cleanly. Cosmetics: The dark grey vinyl covering shows typical vintage wear, including a split on the back upper left edge, some corner scuffs, and areas where the vinyl has peeled up. Vintage Vacuum Tubes, Sovtek, RAM, Ampex, Groove Tubes (Lot of 77). This is a Bulk lot of 77 various vintage and custom amplifier and pre amp tubes. Most of these were acquired through an Estate sale of a former hi-fi audio store owner. Others are from a former touring musician and guitarist. The tubes look to be in great condition, however have not been tested. Tubes are: Sovtek, Svetlana, Groove Tubes, RAM Custom Santa Barbara, RCA, Sylvania, Mesa Boogie, Ampex, Fisher, National, and London Colomor, Technical Trading Co.

Vintage The Fisher 500C FM Tube Stereo Receiver Amplifier (Most Original Tubes). Pre owned in working condition. I assume from the age, a cleaning and deoxit could be usefull. This has many original tubes The Fisher Germany. Missing gold round knob end plate on speaker selector knob. When testing the balance knob when turned all the way to the right does not direct audio just to right speaker. Left is fine, and when balance is centered, both speakers play correctly. I assume the potentiometer knob needs deoxIT due to age and oxidation. Please see video and photos, if you have any other questions, I will try my best to answer. See pics above.

EICO HF-81 Integrated Tube Amplifier – Restoration Candidate – Working Iron. Some units are plug-and-play. This is not one of them. This EICO HF-81 is a largely original example and should be viewed as a restoration project. The transformers appear healthy, but the amplifier will require electronic servicing for stable, long-term operation. This is for someone who will selectively change parts for stability but retain the sonic character the HF-81 is famous for. Operational Status (Please Read Carefully). Powered up slowly on a Variac. Output transformers pass signal. Video included demonstrating that both channels produce output. One channel is weaker and exhibits distortion. The stronger channel distorts at high volume. Power switch (integrated into treble knob) does not function properly. Unit is likely running on original capacitors. Given its age, full recap and restoration is recommended before regular use. Tube Complement (Installed & Working). The original Eico factory installed tubes tested weak or shorted and were replaced with. Quad Sylvania EL84 / 6BQ5 – New old stock (NOS) and new in box (NIB). Tubes are functional, but the distortion issue suggests underlying circuit components (likely caps or resistors) require attention. Classic gold faceplate with vintage wear. Appears largely unmodified internally (based on current inspection). Why This Is Worth Restoring. The HF-81 is widely regarded as one of the most musical EL84 integrated amplifiers ever made. Properly restored examples command strong market value and are known for. Balanced push-pull EL84 output. Highly respected transformer set. The transformers are the heart of these units – and this one passes signal. Collector seeking original platform for rebuild. If you’re looking for a fully restored, daily-use amp, this is not that listing. If you want a strong foundation with working iron and upside potential, this is an excellent candidate.
