For sale is a single RCA MI 4288 tube PPP amplifier. This is the earlier version with UTC transformers. Each amplifier uses two 5U4 tubes, two 6C5 tubes, and four metal 6L6 tubes (most tubes are missing).

Since it is a used item, there are some damages and stains. The vacuum tubes in the amplifier on the right turned red when plugged in. The one on the left showed no reaction. International Buyers – Please Note.

Marshall Lead 12 Watt Combo Guitar Amplifier for parts or repair. The pots were scratchy and tried to pull off the knobs to clean them and one of the shafts from the pot came off. I never did clean the scratchy pots. The Marshall Lead 12 is a highly regarded 12 watt solid state amplifier produced between 1984 and 1991 as part of the JCM800 series. It is a case of vintage electric guitar tube amplifier repair parts: resistors, capacitors, some tubes. I got them from a long-time professional musician and repairman. I have not tested the tubes. My guess is they’re good, but I’m not certain. They come in an old Sears & Roebuck metal parts cabinet.

I didn’t try to turn it on. Tube gear can be dangerous even when unplugged. Capacitors inside can hold hundreds of volts. Exposed wiring = shock risk.
