2 (TWO), ONE MATCHED PAIR OF VINTAGE RADIO CRAFTSMEN 500, ULTRA HIGH FIDELITY MONO TUBE AMPLIFIERS IN GREAT WORKING AND COSMETIC CONDITION. These are 1st VERSION (round corners OPTs) from Radio Craftsmen Co. Triode operated British KT-66 (6L6GC) audio amplifiers in Class A with 10watts, 8 and16 Ohms taps. Both are in matched cosmetic and mechanical condition. All internal parts are same and were selected from same vintage period. Same, new, vintage Stancor PC-8412 power transformers for proper replacement. One transformer is positioned bit forward. One amp 1st tube shielding one tab is broken off, but will be included. The Craftsmen 500 came in 1950-52 with 2 version, rounded and sharp corner output transformers. Both with original power transformer failure, corrected with proper specs, beefier replacement Stancor PC-8212, requered new mounting holes. Most original power trasformers if not bad NOW, will fail LATER. Inrush current limiter installed to protect amplifiers operation. As with all vintage amplifiers they should be operated with Variac to select proper operating B+ and bias. (117VAC) Bench and in home audio system tested and sounding flawlesly.
