1967 Kalamazoo Reverb 12 Vintage 1×10 Tube Amp
Thursday, August 15th, 2024A super clean vintage Gibson-made tube combo! The Reverb 12 is often considered Kalamazoo’s attempt at the Princeton reverb and features a similar 12-watts of power, built-in spring reverb, onboard tremolo and single 10 speaker. These amps are lightweight and portable with a warm clean tone and mild breakup at low volumes when cranked up. A great vintage bedroom tube amp and fantastic choice for the studio! Manufactured by CMI Electronics (Chicago Musical Instruments). Chicago Musical Instruments (CMI) owned Gibson from 1944 until 1969. CMI Electronics made amps under brands including Gibson, Kalamazoo, Maestro, Sabre and SG. Kalamazoo (Gibson budget line) amps were made by CMI in Chicago from 1965 – 1967.
