This is a Peavey Classic 50 Tweed head from the mid 90′s. It is an incredible amp. When you turn it up it gets even better. If you throw a Tube Screamer in front of the lead channel… You can get some great 70′s rock tones aka Van Halen, Tom Petty, 38 Special, Journey….. Anything Bluesy or Classic Rock from the 70′s and 80′s is right in the sweet-spot of this great amp head. The Clean channel is very American Fender-like. Perfect for SRV stuff like Riviera Paradise. I do not have the user’s manual. Peavey has it available on their website and you can download it. Original box is not included either. These Peavey Heads are extremely reliable, and durable. The Tweed tolex is in pretty good shape, although it does have a few dings and scratches which I have shown (See Photos). The tubes are still good. The Caps and pots are working fine. The FX loop works good too. I removed a lot of rust from the mirror faceplate and some of the numbers in white around the Black Chicken-head knobs has worn off… And it did leave little rust “bumps” on there as shown (See Photos). The handle is a little worn as you can see in the photos as well. Overall this Peavey Classic 50 is in good shape for an amp 20+ years old. Please look at all of the photos to evaluate it’s overall condition. Here is some more info.
