Vintage Tube Amp

This is a rare Vintage Supro Valco tube guitar amplifier. The serial number is V15025. It does work but there is some static and crackling. It is also missing the volume knob, and the power switch is pushed into the chassis. The power cord does have cracking in it so that would need to be replaced. The leather handle is still intact but has the metal wire sticking out. Overall the amp is well used and will require restoration to get back to 100%. This is a very rare and neat old amplifier. Letting go of this beautiful. 1950′s RCA 86A Tube Compressor/Limiter. This unit was recently serviced and recapped by the best in the business here in Los Angeles. It is fully plug & play with XLR pigtails and it sounds legendary. This compressor will be someone’s studio weapon/work-horse for the next 100 years. The 86A was the predecessor to the RCA BA6A and has absolutely every bit of the mojo that its younger brother has. I own 96A, 86A & BA6A, and they are all magnificent comp/limiters, each a hair bit different mechanically but extremely close sonically. They are all on the slower side of compression but I absolutely love the color and character they add, no pumping or annoying artifacts like you find with many modern compressors. The 86A is Incredibly smooth and musical. It makes everything sound bigger and badder! There’s nothing like tubes and massive transformers to help you define and glue a mix. The sound is as heavy and big as the unit itself (35lbs- 5RU) – This compressor is professionally serviced and wired with XLR pigtails. The Fisher Model 500 Receiver Mono Tube Amp Works 1950′s Vintage. Lettering has faded but considering its age its in great shape. See pics for best description of condition. One knob (far right) has been replaced with a non oem one. The unit was tested and works. The only thing I noticed when testing was there is slight static when turning volume knob at a low Db the static does go away once the knob isnt turning even at low decibel. There is no static at all once volume is at Id say 20% or higher. Most likely the volume pot needs do dioxit or it can be left alone. Any questions please feel free to ask me. Eico HF20 tube amp. Amp powers on and has good sound from the different inputs and 8ohm speaker output, with a slight hum heard when nothing is being played, and slightly “scratchy” knobs. Unit could probably use some service as it has been sitting for many years, and due to this like any vintage electronic: could become defective at any point. Unit has no apparent substantial damage beyond some corrosion in various places and dust here and there. Please refer to the photos for a further evolution of condition. This is the Oahu 230K Two-Tone Lap Steel Electric Guitar Tube Amplifier. The Oahu amplifiers gained a large following after it was discovered that Keith Richards was using them in the studio. This amplifier features a 12 watt all tube design. There are 3 inputs- 2 guitar and a microphone in. The tube design, combined with the low wattage makes for a great amp to push into natural overdrive. This Oahu is on the warmer side enabling a great full sound. This tone runs to the original Rola 10 speaker- the speaker dates to 1947 or 1957. The look here is gorgeous- Black/Cream two-tone aesthetic. This amp is in good overall condition- typical marks you expect on a 60+ year old example, static in pots, the exterior on the power cord is cracking, and the handle is missing some plastic (pics). Lovely Pye Mozart EL34 Single Ended Valve Amplifier. Missing the outer mesh casing but if it shows up we will post on afterwards!
