This amplifier was pulled out from a Hammond console organ model M 1956. It is for sale AS-IS. I don’t understand anything about vintage amps so it is in unknown working condition. Offering a CONN Organ Tube Amplifier. Uses 2- 6L6 & 4 6V6 Power Tubes. Made in the U. Appears to be in pretty good Condition. It has been tested for power. Comes with power supply tubes only, as pictured. The 4- 6V6 sockets are labeled in handwritten script ” Disabled “. Also, it appears that a large capacitor has been removed from the under side of the amp. Otherwise the unit looks to be in good shape. Uses the following tubes. 4-6V6 tubes (Disabled at this time). Comes with only the tubes shown in the pictures. They don’t make them like this any more. Each unit Measures- 12 1/2″ in length by 6″ D x 5 3/4 H. This dual-channel amp dates to early 1964, it appears. It has all the common connection points, similar to a 147 type amp, for speaker output, motor AC sockets, 6-pin male connector on front. Some wear and tear and bits of grime. Some paint loss here and there, about typical for a’60s amp. The ink on the branding label seems to be “failing” for lack of a better word, or maybe some of it was smeared away with a solvent. This powerhouse amp was last operated about three years ago (November 2014, with a Leslie speaker). All tubes are present, though the tubes and capacitors may be mostly original and weak at this 50-year-plus age, and may need attention or replacement.
