ONE VINTAGE 1928 TUBE POWER AMPLIFIER from WESTERN ELECTRIC ERA, for use with one single ended 250 output tube and one 280 rectifier tube, tubes are NOT with this listing, i like my 250 tubes and not parting with them yet. The power transformer tests good, and the input transformer also tests good, no other testing was done. Please note this amplifier never had an output transformer, it was originally connected to a high impedance speaker, and will need some work to use it. Only the tube main amplifier is a product. EL34M is used for the output tube. 6SL7 is used in the previous stage. Vintage 1960 Sherwood S-4000 Tube Amplifiers. Tested by plugging them in to see if they would power up. Strongly Recommend reconditioning prior to using, though. Each unit has 7 Power Tubes. These units are in very good physical for being 62 years old! Missing one knob as pictured. They are as found, with quite dusty interiors. Vintage Dynaco ST-70 Dynakit Stereo 70 Tube Power Amplifier It is untested – NO TUBES. THE TUBES ARE NOT INCLUDED.. I bought this to use myself but have since bought a pair of mkiv. And then they stopped working. There is a burnt out resistor and another one that is cracked. I bought the resistor to replace it but never got round to it. I understand a lot was done by way of modifications including the meters and the individual test points for each tube and adjustments. It’s a beautiful amp and I’m sure it will give the new owner good sound once fixed up. I’m including the new and old resistors and also the old driver board.
