Vintage Tube Amp

A video can be sent on request. I do have two of these in stock in working condition. Sale includes the very rare Q-3535 “First Stereo Amplifier” along with the very rare SP-220 Pre-Amp. It is not very often either of these pop up and if so, rarely together. Units are in clean working condition. Output is very clean. Although the unit powers on, produces clean output from both channels some expected care and upkeep should be expected given the age and nature of this item. No further promises, warranties, or etc are offered. The tubes in the unit do work. They will be packaged properly and safely. I do not promise duration or longevity on the tubes. It is not bad, but notible when making some adjustments. Please note in the pictures, any marks on either unit. If you are a Sansui collector, this should be on your must have list. This has been sitting a long while. We plugged it in and tried it out and it made a few crazy noise but actually sounds great. We did not clean or touch any tubes or wires. Thats up to the new owner. Vintage Eico HF-86 tube power amplifier in good overall working and looking condition. Powered up slowly and it sounded good with no hum and had equal levels. Power tubes are EL84-6BQ5-7189 and were tested to be good. From a recent estate sale, past owner was a smoker so it is dirty from years of exposure. Pilot 602S A tuner amplifier. This is yet another pilot tube amp that has blown my mind. It has been sitting unused for many years. I cleaned the controls. Balance pot still a little scratchy. Probably needs one more spray. I left the tubes it had with the exception of 2 12au7s. They were very low and I replaced with a matching set of strong GE tubes. All the pilot made in Austria 6bq5 tubes are good. 3 are 78% and above one is 61%. You may want to change in the future. I left 3 of the original siemans 12ax7 branded pilot tubes made in West Germany. The other 2 were Raytheon and Ge gray plates. 12at7 original pilot Siemens. So all in all a great set of expensive tubes. Inputs tested and working. With all this said its a vintage unit. You can listen to it as is or replace the old caps and restore to its former glory. Its sounds amazing now. Old units require service. Especially with beautiful well engineered units like this! As you can see this unit is very clean. This Ampex “Fine Line” model 1250 reel-to-reel tape recorder still works and sounds great. It measures 15 inches by 13 inches by 6 inches, and original power cord and Ampex take-up reel are included. Exterior has been meticulously cleaned and is in good cosmetic shape, but does show some minor rust on the side edges of the steel faceplate. Record quality was very good, and all inputs and outputs have been tested and work without humming or noise. Tubes have not been individually tested, no repairs, modifications or upgrades have been performed. See detailed photos for interior shots and to grade cosmetic condition. Vintage Silvertone Original Twin Twelve Guitar Amplifier #1484 from the 1960s. Original Jensen speakers with a speaker jack on the back of the cab which was an upgrade so the heard is not hardwired to the cab. Tubes have been replaced with Sovtek and Electro Harmonics tubes. Sounds great, has some wear but nothing major to discuss. Some scratches on cover. Packing: we are going to use a professional service to pack your item. It will be triple bubbled and double boxed with a ton of cushioning. The unit sounds terrific. We had it professionally tested and everything is working as it should be meaning meters, lamps. The speaker terminal strip has no broken tabs. Some small face scuffing on side edge due to being rack mounted but no other damage than that. There is some slight yellowing on the backlit piece and some light scratches on top of the case. We ask that any emails before your item is to be HANDLED is not sent as your item is not late. Up for sale here is this gorgeous vintage Sears Silvertone 1483 tube amplifier. This is in great condition, with light to moderate wear overall and very light rust/corrosion on the face. It’s not mint, but is definitely in good shape. The cabinet is nice and solid. This has the original Silvertone-badged RCA 6L6GC output tubes, dated 1967, and has the original Silvertone 6CG7 and 5Y3GT tubes. The 12AX7s are vintage US-made, I think GE. Both tube shields are there. This is missing the rear ID badge that would normally be riveted in on the right side. This only has two bolts holding it in from the bottom, and no bolts from the back–I’m not sure why those are gone. The electronics appear to be 100% original–all the caps look like they are untouched. The 6L6GCs are dated 1967, so this amp is from around that year. All the original knobs are there. This has four 1/4″ input jacks on the front and two 1/4″ output jacks on the back. I do not know if this normally has one or two rear output jacks. It has a nice long power cord, and has another cable sticking out of the back. That second cable is shorter, maybe a foot long, and has what appears to be an odd-looking AC plug on the end, but I’m pretty sure it’s an output cable and is not an AC cord. I brought this up on a Variac, and it does play fine and sounds good. I didn’t hear much background noise, just a tiny bit of it in the background. I did clean the 12AX7 sockets and potentiometers with Deoxit, but otherwise I have not updated this or anything. This is tested and working, but because this is a vintage tube amplifier, I would strongly recommend that you recap/restore this before regular use. This is just an amp–there is no speaker cabinet included. Please see all 12 of my pictures for details. If you have any questions, please ask.
