This guitar and amp are very very nice. When got this from the original owners wife, it had a tall nut, the guitar was used for slide guitar, it has literally no fret ware. The original nut was included and is back on the guitar, It plays , sounds and looks excellent. Guitar and tube amp extends a true vintage electric guitar sound. This one is in exceptional condition displaying very little wear. This guitar was used most of its life as a slide guitar, which explains why there is little to no fret wear. You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner example of such a RARE and desirable vintage Danelectro guitar and comes with its original chipboard case. I love this guitar, I really do. And have enjoyed playing it. Volume and tone controls are fully functional. Guitar plays really nice, Sounds great through the amp. Very beautiful vintage finish. This is a really, really nice guitar. Fret board has a great feel. Hard to believe it close to 60′s year old! Amp is very clean. I bought this pair from the estate of the original owner. To my knowledge they are both original. Stored since the 70s. This is a true vintage electric guitar, and amp not NEW.
