Vintage 1960′s Model 1485 Sears Silvertone Guitar Tube Amplifier

The 1485 was the most powerful tube-powered amp that Sears ever made available. At just a shade under 240 bucks, it was also the most expensive. The only thing missing was an’11′ on the volume dial. This amp was the MAX. History: This was my 1st guitar amp when I bought it new way back in the early 1960′s. It originally came with a speaker cabinet but that was replaced early on with a much larger speaker cabinet for the wall of speakers look/sound. The last time I used this amp (a few years ago) I used it to drive a pair of Bose 901′s as a PA & it sounded great. No speakers are included in this sale. Amplifier is a Sears Silvertone Model 1485 with 120 Watts of power. Excellent shape & has a lot of powerful sound. Amplifier has 2-channels with 2-inputs per channel. Only the 2nd channel offers reverb & tremolo option. All original electronics including the tubes. Original Reverb & Tremolo footswitch is included. Reverb seems to works fine and can be switched on/off by footswitch. Tremolo (when tested with a microphone – no guitar available) sounds like it works fine but. Seems to shut off with footswitch. All 4-Amplifier inputs work fine with the exception of the tremolo concern noted above. Black and is a little rough around the front edges.
