Vintage Tube Amp

Older Hammond HR40 Tone Cabinet Tube amplifier. Photo of tag is to show what this came out of, tag doesn’t come with Amp. I will be listing the speakers that came out of this cabinet soon.

Vintage Voice of Music 6V6 tube amp. This one has been on the shelf waiting for a guitar amp conversion, but it’s time to go. Would make a great platform for any DIY tube amp project. Please see the pictures, and feel free to ask any questions.

Vacuum tubes used: 12AX7: 4, 12AU7: 4. Input sensitivity: Phono MM: 2mV, Phono MC: 0.2mV. The appearance has small scratches, dullness, dirt, etc. Due to normal use. Distortion rate: 0.05% or less.

Sherwood S8000 IV Receiver Beautiful Cosmetic Shape Pulled From Working Console VTG Tubes and all tube shields. Tested everything seems to be working such as Tuning section, the various inputs and channel and all lights. All knobs and POC’s were cleaned may be some a couple knobs that need alittle more cleaning to assure any scratchiness has been eliminated. Even though working I’m not sure when the last servicing was and I would strongly recommend it being fully serviced or restored due to its age. Please ask any questions prior to purchasing.

Pair of Vintage DuKane 3A55 Step-Up Mic Transformers, Tube Pre-Amp. These were pulled from an old DuKane tube mixer.

4 channel, 8 input. This pre amp is in at least very good condition. All 8 inputs work perfectly.

Sears and Roebuck Silvertone Model 1482 Amp – often referred to as the “Poor Man’s Deluxe”. Original 12 speaker model 4015. Original 2 prong power cord.

VR9 4D (VR5 = Amperex 7308/E188CC Production #5, = Amperex New York factory, 4 = 1964, D = April). The clarity and sound detail on USN-CEP 7308′s are second to none. These tubes have a clean, incisive presentation, but are also euphonic and musical.

This is an untouched Voice Of Music chassis with all of the original parts. The amplifier is two EL84 in push-pull with a 12au7a and a 6au6 in the front end. This is being offered’as is’ and untested. The tubes are long gone and will not be included.

This item is a bit of a “Mystery Box “. It was built by my father in the 60′s, who was a senior electrical engineer withBell Labs and recently passed away. I do believe it is still working, but would need to be properly tested to be certain.
