Vintage Tube Amp

Beautiful 1961 Bogen Challenger CHA-10 Vintage amplifier. Completely restored plug and play ready! Glorious single ended 6L6 sound! Think way louder Fender Princeton. Amp is mostly stock with a few useful mods. The tone switch has been changed to way more useful tweed Fender tone pot circuit. The phono pot is now a master volume. 1/4 input and speaker out jacks. 4, 8 and 16 ohm outputs. I added a 3 prong power cord and fuse for safety. Still has the original hang tag from the power cord! All original high testing Bogen tubes-6AV6 (Blackburn Mullard), 6AU6 (RCA), 6L6GC (GE) and EZ81 (Blackburn Mullard). I haven’t done one of these for awhile, so video is of one I did while ago the same way so you can hear how it sounds.

Restored Magnavox 8802 with four new JJ Electronic 6V6S tubes and a new JJ EZ81. The others are Raytheon. Please see photos for electrical restoration details, I’m not the original owner or experienced with tube electronics. There are many new parts and it looks like a clean job. It sounds terrific and works as it should. I never seem to use it, time to pass it along to someone who will. Lovingly restored classic 1954 Gibson GA20. Last year of the original style. Plug and play ready. The original 12 Jensen P12R still has original cone, looks and sounds great. Highest quality parts used-CE firecracker caps, blue Sozos and Sprage Atom caps. All vintage tubes including 4 out of 6 original ones! Two-6SJ7s, 6SL7GT, two perfectly matched smoked glass RCA 6V6GTs and 5Y3GT. They all test very good on my Hickok 6000A. 3 Prong power cord. Circuit is stock, except for a couple of things. I changed the Instrument channel coupling cap to. I also changed the instrument inputs. Instead of all 3 being the same, they are set up as high, mid and low level, in a Fenderish way.
