Vintage 1960′s AKAI 1710W 4-Track Reel-to-Reel Tape Player Wood Case Tube Amp

Item for sale is a vintage AKAI 1710W 4-track reel-to-reel tape player/recorder with wood case. Unit has a built in amplifier and speakers for stand-alone use, and has outputs for use with a component system. Comes with a detachable front cover. Item has been tested and is still in good working order. This unit has vacuum tubes, so it needs to warm up a minute before it will begin playing. Has not been serviced so should probably be lubed. Case has some nicks (visible in pictures) in it and the from metal plate has some brownish stains mainly around the reels and capstan areas. NOTE: Reels not included. Dimensions: 13.5″ W x 10″ D x 14 H. (Funny, this was advertised as being light weight in the 60′s).
