Up for sale here is this gorgeous vintage power supply. It looks like it could power a tube amplifier, but otherwise you could part it out and use the parts in a tube amplifier. This has an extremely nice homemade wood case, as well as the following parts. Simpson DC Volts Meter (0-500). Weston Model 506 DC Milliamperes Meter (0-300, made for US Signal Corps). 3 Toggle switches (1 front, 2 rear). 6 vintage heavy-duty binding posts (3 black, 3 red). Rear AC jack (no cord, sorry). Huge Sprague Atom capacitor. Thordarson Choke (I think it’s marked C330). UTC H-83 power transformer (looks incredible, rated at 115VAC primary, 6.3V 5A secondary, 5V 2A secondary, and either 670v 130mA or 600v 140ma secondary). A few misc resistors and other parts. Hand-drawn schematic on inside. This is an incredible piece of gear, and I really don’t want to part it out, so I thought I’d put it up as a whole before I cut it up. This is untested and I would probably replace the caps or at least bring them up on a Variac for safety. I will guarantee the power transformer to be good. Please see my pictures for details. For sale is an excellent vintage electric guitar from Sears and branded Silvertone. Surprise that Guitar Player in your life and put this under the Tree! All Reasonable Offers Encouraged!! Made by Danelectro for sale through Sears and Roebuck in 1963 the Silvertone Amp in Case Guitar was one of the first recognizable brands to offer as a package a Guitar and Amplifier All in One. It still has the inside shielding with the Original masking tape!! I did not open it so I can’t read the pots to get the exact year. I’m guessing it was made in 1963. This one has a Great Sounding Amplifier that truly surprised Me with its Volume, Tone and Tremolo. It was pretty loud and rivals my 70′s Fender Vibro Champ for sound. I was so surprised.. I don’t know about how any others Silvertone Amps sound but this particular Tube Amplifier sounds far better than I expected. There are still at least 2 Silvertone Tubes in there and all are Vintage Tubes. The Case is in Excellent Condition and all the latches and Handle work Great. The Guitar plays Great and again, better than I expected with low action and smooth playability. Judging from the condition it doesn’t appear to have been played much at all, see pics. The neck is thin and fast playing, with a great in hand feel that doesn’t slow you down and no fret wear hardly at all. I mean for a 55 year old guitar it is way above what I usually see. I stand behind this and know You will be happy, check My Feedback.. The neck is straight and a blast to play. Overall I’d rate this a 9 out of 10 for condition. I took plenty of pictures and although it has a small rub or ding here or there, it is in very nice shape. But if You live across the Country then I’ll cover the difference. Item for sale is a vintage AKAI 1710W 4-track reel-to-reel tape player/recorder with wood case. Unit has a built in amplifier and speakers for stand-alone use, and has outputs for use with a component system. Comes with a detachable front cover. Item has been tested and is still in good working order. This unit has vacuum tubes, so it needs to warm up a minute before it will begin playing. Has not been serviced so should probably be lubed. Case has some nicks (visible in pictures) in it and the from metal plate has some brownish stains mainly around the reels and capstan areas. NOTE: Reels not included.
