Magnavox Tube Amplifier #8802. Pulled out of an early 1960s console. This is a Class AB Push Pull stereo amplifier. Has that warm and amazing sound that only vintage tube gear attains. Output is rated 10-12 wpc. All the tubes are original Magnavox and have been tested as good. The output tubes (4x 6V6) and drivers (2x 6EU7) are included as is the rectifier tube (1x 6CA4) and will be boxed seperately. Cosmetically, the chassis is in beautiful shape… It’s nice and straight with no deep scratches, dents or warps. The top is very nice, clean and bright as well. It’s a perfect amp to mod into a stand alone unit, or reinstall back into a console. The amp comes as pictured. Even tho it’s fully functional, due to the nature of vintage electronics and age, I recommend getting it serviced prior to regular use. Tall’can’ type condensor/capacitor failed after a few minutes when these conditions were observed. Part got very hot and smoke was visible. Power was removed immediately. Unit is offered as-is with these notes. Tested on 110v step down. Separate or stereo mode was selected. Used 8 ohm speakers with existing wiring connection (Set for 8 ohm). Left channel audio came in clearly. Only a low hum/buzz was heard on the right channel. All 4 large tubes observed glowing normally. A Vintage, rare 1960 Heathkit AA-30 stereo tube amp with 4 6BQ5 , 1 GZ34 and 2 ea. This amp works but there is some distortion at higher volumes mostly with bass frequencies and the right channel is a little lower than the left. There are some new caps in it and it sounds OK, just hard hitting bass sounds distorted. This is a small amp , only about 15 watts per channel. Comes with cage, Comes with all tubes. Only minor imperfections on the metal chassis, very nice physical condition. You can use this amp the day you receive it and repair ir and make it better later. VINTAGE FISHER SA-100 TUBE CHASSIS STEREO AMPLIFIER UNTESTED PARTS/REPAIR. These came from a local recently liquidated estate. I have no way to test these and have not plugged them in or tried to power them on. The tubes appear to be original. This one does not appear to be in as good condition as the other.
