Cosmetically, it is in excellent condition for it’s age. Torn on bottom corners. The speaker is original Fender Speaker. Small tubes are mix JJ and Russian Made. It is works and sounds very good. 6CG7, (1/2) 12AX7 (260). 2x Oxford 12L5N 12. 2x 5″ or 2x 5×7″. 1959 Magnatone Custom 280 Tube combo amp. The top of the line offering of the late 1950s. Two separate output transformers with true stereo Vibrato. Original Oxford 12L5N speakers. Two 5 speakers also for four speakers total. Plugged in and tested and works. I would not say it was tested by a guitar specialist, but it was tested with a guitar and it did play. Cosmetically the unit is in great vintage shape when compared to other units of this age. This unit was filled with Church Hymns and Christian music from days gone by, telling me that this amp may have lived an easier life than some. Grill looks like it has some dirt on it, was worried it was a water line but the rest of the amp does not show that to be true. Please ask questions if you have any. TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE. Pair of UNTESTED/NON WORKING HARE model #210 tube amplifiers. The only information that I could find on ther net is the link below. Dr Donald Hare started in the manufacturing of theater tube amplifiers for Cinerama in the late 1940s. These amps use 6146 outputs so that should be about 75 watts of output power. The amp needed was professionally serviced and is in very good. This has the 2 X 5881 Power tubes… Sounds killer with the dual Oliptical Rola Speakers.. This is a 2 channel… The mic side has more power. The single tone is live on both channels… The amp was restored with a beautiful Tweed tolex… And is a two tone…. The brown tolex is original..
