Vintage 1970′s Fender Dual Showman Reverb Tube Amp Head & 2×15 D130 Cabinet. This amp & cab have been thoroughly tested and both work without any problems. This amp & cab are in excellent cosmetic condition considering their age. PLEASE NOTE: THE ORIGINAL CABINET SPEAKERS HAVE JUST BEEN REPLACED WITH BRAND NEW PEAVEY BLACKWIDOW SPEAKERS. Up for sale, a 1978 Marshall JMP 2204 Master Model 50w Mk II Lead vintage tube amplifier head, freshly serviced and sporting the original fawn tolex. Produced in the proverbial “sweet spot” for late’70s Master Model JMPs, this 2204 features cascading preamp gain and the kind of rich, muscly, ripping textures synonymous with AC/DC’s renaissance. At 50 watts, the amp has plenty of power and crunch, and the Master Volume is an infinitely usable tool for creating natural sounding drive at a variety of volumes. Conversely, turning the Master to 10 and dialing in the Preamp Volume to taste yields more Plexi-like textures. The EL-34 power tubes are Marshall’s signature valve of choice and have ample sizzle and headroom, and this amp is fitted with a brand new properly biased pair from Electro Harmonix. As the back panel of the amp can attest, numerous mods were removed and cleanly plugged. The chart on the chassis has a handwritten January, 1978 test date. The chassis itself is quite clean, with a faceplate that retains all of the original black silkscreen lettering and a full compliment of original knobs. The original fawn tolex shows plenty of scuffs and minor tears, yet the large Marshall logo on the face of the amp is fully intact. All of the original piping is present too, along with the original plastic corners and feet. A new vintage-spec handle has been installed. Up for sale, a 1984 Marshall JCM800 model 2203 “Mk II Master Model 100″ vintage tube amp head in excellent condition and in perfect working order. One of the first Marshalls to feature the pre-phase inverter Master Volume circuit, this early vertical input JCM800 allows the preamp to saturate and deliver searing crunch at club-friendly volumes. Of course the amp really excels when you dial up both the preamp gain and volume for a thick crunch. The circuit is clean and stock, with original Drake transformers. The chart on the chassis has a handwritten 3-29-84 test date. The amp features a new quad of freshly biased EL34 power tubes, and a trio of modern preamp tubes as well. The chassis itself shows some oxidation and light surface wear, while the gold faceplate is quite clean with all original knobs intact. There is modest wear through the black silkscreen graphics, particularly above the knobs and adjacent to the inputs. An extremely rare iteration, this Marshall was originally imported to Japan. Curiously, the amp was never wired for anything but USA 120v power, and the amp has recently been fitted with a modern three-prong power cable (the polarity switch on the rear panel has been disconnected). The original tolex shows only a few small tears and nicks on the back edges of the enclosure, and the original large Marshall logo is fully intact. 1980s Peavey Rock Master Vintage Tube Series 120w Amp Head. Tolex is great only real flaw is the top grill screw holes has chipping (see photo). I had her rewired and the fuses replaced with higher quality. The tubes are what were in it when i acquired it. They still have plenty of bite left, but I would suggest replacing them as they are a mixed bag, with some RCA 6L6s and the 12AX7s are a mixture of original Peavey and Bugeras. This amp is a screamer. Comparable to the classic Marshall JCM800. Original foot switch is included. I have this amp listed elsewhere as well as locally. I reserve the right to end this listing upon its sale elsewhere. I pack safe and secure. This is a rare, hard to find gem of a tube head. Do your research, read the blogs and reviews. Up for sale, a 1971 Ampeg SVT tube bass amplifier head in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Ampeg debuted the Super Vacuum Tube “SVT” amplifier in the summer of 69 at the Chicago N. This amp was a milestone design, utilizing 300 watts of all-tube power specifically geared for larger venues, cementing its place in the live world as the defacto standard backline stage rig. An original Linden, New Jersey made example with blue line cosmetics, this SVT has been serviced and maintained to play its best, with rich, authoritative, articulate low end, ample warmth, and distinctly smooth Ampeg tone. This SVT boasts a new matched sextet of 6550 JJ power tubes and has been serviced as needed, with a full recap of the power supply, as well as a hard-wired three-prong power cable and 1/4 speaker cable. A fan has been mounted too, ensuring the amp doesn’t overheat with the incredible voltage of the six power tubes. The Electrical Windings Company power transformer and filament transformer have matching date codes that read the 12th week of 1971, and the original output transformer is intact as well. The original CTS pot codes date to the 51st week of 1970. Cosmetically, this amp is in great shape with original smooth black tolex and original grill cloth. The grill cloth has aged uniformly, and the tolex is in very good condition overall with some light wear around the edges and on the bottom of the enclosure. Vintage Montgomery Ward / Valco Amp Head. 2 Channel, Reverb and Tremolo. 4 x 6L6s, 3 x 12AX7, and a 6V6 all of which look to be RCA. This amp is a vintage tube amp which looks to be in its original state minus the updated 3 prong cord added by one of the previous owners. Having it inspected by a amp tech is always a wise idea to insure several more years of awesome use. Both channels work and so does the reverb and tremolo. There is a hum when the amp is on and resting, w. Hich is very common for older amps. It does sound very good though when it is played and all the knobs and switches seam to work. The hum doesnt increase when adding volume or adding reverb or tremolo. All 3 lights work but the 1st one looks to be out of position and not as bright. Cabinet does have a few dings with rips in the vinyl, but solid and clean for the most part. One rubber foot is broken also. Faceplate does have some pitting from its age. Solid amp with great bones, but not in perfect condition. Please ask any and all questions and I will do my best to answer. Ridiculous but it will be packed correctly.
