Please view all images what you see what you get. This is on of the best Luxman Valve amplifier ever made with NEC 50C-A10 POWER TUBE. All tube original, can not confirm life of tube but I brought this amp 10 year ago from Osaka and keep this wonderful amp until now, very very light use jus for. I can not tell valve condition but I can confirm valve are working well sound very nice NO ISSUE. This is 100V 50/60hz so need to use step up or step down Voltage depend your country voltage. 78,000yen(August, 1968 release). Harman Kardon A500 Vintage Integrated Tube Stereo Amplifier. I acquired this amplifier from a friend of mine about 30 years ago. It was my primary stereo for 20 years until we moved 10 years ago at which time it was boxed up and set on a shelf until last week when I pulled it out to test for listing. When I turned it on I remembered why I loved this amp so much. The problem is, I will not have room in the place we are now moving to, consequently it is up for sale. I just dusted it off, cleaned the pots and switches with contact cleaner, tested all the tubes and sat and listened to it for a while. This is a great sounding powerful stereo amplifier with lots of unique features including the blending feature allowing you to blend the two separate stereo channels to a specific blending of your choice while monitoring the amount of blend with the indicator lamps. It also has a volume potentiometer controlled low level signal out for a center channel if desired. A very cool not so common feature for a stereo amplifier of this era. This is a very well built piece of equipment with massive transformers and lots of shielding. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS from Owners Manual: Two 7355 tubes per channel, self-biased, tetrode connected in Class AB1 operation. On preamplier and voltage amplifier laments. 25 watts per channel. 20 watts per channel at less than 0.5% distortion. 5watts at less than 0.2% distortion. 50 watts per channel. Fisher X-100-B Integrated Stereo Tube Amplifier. Sounds amazing and functions perfectly. 3 of the 12AX7 / 7025 tubes are a mixture of good, tested, vintage US tubes. The other 3 12AX7 / ECC83 tubes are Telefunken, which also test very well. The 7868 output tubes are a mixture of vintage US. These all test great and are closely matched. This amp has never had modern 7868 tubes jammed in so the tube sockets are all still tight and ready for you to try different vintage 7868 tubes if you so desire. Has been updated only to be sure it works safely. Bias has been set to the factory setting at about 120vac. An in-rush current limiter thermistor was installed to help save the tubes and get the voltage a little closer to the preferred 117vac. The electrolytic power supply capacitors were upgraded along with a few out of spec resistors. All film capacitors were left in place to keep the amp as original as possible. 60 years later these caps still test perfect and sound great. The potentiometers and switches were all thoroughly cleaned. The original power switch works perfectly. Many people recommend leaving the power switch on and turning the power on and off elsewhere to insure the power switch keeps working forever. In good physical condition. Faceplate has one or two very small scratches maybe not visible in the pictures. It’s clean, but could be even better with a little more attention to detail. There is some pitting in the chrome, please see the pictures for the best description. Also, its very slightly indented in the middle. I might not have even noticed if i didnt have another one of these to compare it to. Will be packed extremely well. If you are unsure of how to operate and maintain a vintage tube amp I highly recommend going on audiokarma , or a similar website to at least get the basics down. For sale is an Altec 344a in excellent condition. This unit has no obvious issues, but unfortunately it could not be tested due to a deteriorated power cord. This cord will need to be replaced and the unit should be serviced. The brass colored components due have some oxidation as does the chassis, but no serious rust. Cabinet has scratches and nicks. For sale is an EICO ST-70 in what I’d consider to be lightly used, but dormant condition. Unit is excellent cosmetically and is completely original and has not been used in many years. Upon inspecting the interior of the amplifier, all of the components appear to be in the condition they were in when inserted in the amplifier nearly 60 years ago, but unfortunately the electrolytic capacitors will need to be replaced.
