HERE IS A VINTAGE MAGNAVOX VACUUM TUBE STEREO POWER AMPLIFIER. THIS IS A PUSH PULL STEREO 6V6GT AMP. USES 4 6V6GT, 2 6EU7 LOW NOISE TWIN TRIODES AND A 6CA4 RECTIFIER. ALL TUBES ARE INCLUDED. THIS AMP WAS WORKING WHEN PULLED FROM ITS EARLY 60′S MAGNAVOX CONSOLE. AS WITH ANY AMP OF THIS AGE IT SHOULD BE RECAPPED BEFORE LONG TERM USE. ALL ORIGINAL CIRCUITRY UNDERNEATH. BEAUTIFUL detailed CABINET still has a few former scuffs and scratches. Circa: 1956 MAGNAVOX MICROMATIC record changer. Note; Wooden deck inside cabinet has been modified to accept the Micromatic, thereby replacing the antiquated Collaro changer. Size: 20″W x 19″D x 13H. Legs add about 14 to height. (about 25 tall with legs attached). Speakers: 3 ALNICO Speakers total, consisting of 2 X 6″ x 9″ oval speakers and 1 x 5 Tweeter with X-over. Tube Compliment: 12AX7, 5Y3, 6AQ5, 6AQ5. Cartridge: Tetrad, STEREO with new tone arm wiring harness, Diamond. 07 mil for LP’s on one side of flip over style needle and 3 mil Sapphire on the other side for 78′s. Cartridge: Tetrad, STEREO with new tone arm wiring harness, Diamond. 07 mil for LP’s on one side of flip over style needle and 3 mil Sapphire on the other side for 78′s. VINTAGE MAGNAVOX VACUUM TUBE STEREO POWER AMPLIFIER AMP 88 02 00 recapped. This has been recapped with silmix ii, multicaps, and obbligato caps. It also has a few new good quality resistors. It does not have an on/off switch, I was going to do that and add wood sides, but never made the time to do it. It also still has the original speaker connections, rather than something newer. It works and sounds great. It has a set of good magnavox 6v6gt tubes and British 6eu7 tubes also by MAGNAVOX.
